Privacy policy

High Level Boxing Gym ("we", "us") is a small, coach-owned gym at 1B/51 Tweed Coast Road, Bogangar NSW 2488. We handle your personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles, and we keep it simple: we collect only what we need to run the gym, we never sell it, and we never share it for marketing.

What we collect

• Account & booking details - your name, email and phone number, so we can confirm bookings, manage your membership and reach you about your sessions.
• Emergency contact & medical notes - optional information you choose to give us at signup so the coach can look after you if something happens during training.
• Training & order history - the classes you book and attend, shop orders and fight night tickets, so your portal, credits and receipts work.
• Messages - anything you send through the contact form.

What we never see

Card payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number goes directly from your browser to Stripe and never touches our server - we only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded.

How we store and use it

• Your information lives in the gym's own database on our server, with daily backups. It is not handed to third-party marketing platforms.
• Only the coaching and admin team can see member records. Medical notes and coach notes are visible to staff only, never to other members.
• We email you about things you've asked for - booking confirmations, class reminders, receipts and waitlist updates. Those keep coming as long as you have a booking or an account, because they are the thing you signed up for.
• Now and then we also email gym news, fight night announcements and the occasional nudge to come back in. Every one of those carries an unsubscribe link at the bottom, one click takes you off that list for good, and it never affects the confirmations above. We do not sell or share your address with anyone.
• The public monthly leaderboard in the member portal shows first name and last initial only.

Cookies and your browser

We use one cookie: a session cookie that keeps you logged in. Your shopping cart, and the contact details you type when booking as a guest (kept only to prefill the form next time), are stored in your own browser, not sent anywhere until you actually book or order. There are no advertising trackers and no third-party analytics on this site, and fonts are served from our own server rather than Google.

Kids

Accounts for members under 18 should be created and managed by a parent or guardian, who also provides the training consent at signup.

Access, correction and deletion

You can update most of your details from the member portal. To access, correct or delete anything else we hold about you, call or text 0402 747 162 or ask at the front desk - we'll sort it out promptly.

Training terms

• Waiver - boxing training involves physical exertion and contact drills. By booking or signing up you confirm you're physically able to train, you participate at your own risk, and (for minors) a parent or guardian has given consent. Sparring only ever happens in Fighters Class, by mutual agreement with the coach.
• Free first class - every new boxer's first class is free, once per person.
• Cancellations - cancel up to 2 hours before a session and your class credit comes straight back. Later than that, or a no-show, and the credit is used.
• Waitlists - if a full class opens up, the first person on the waitlist is automatically confirmed and notified.
• Fighters and media - nominating for a fight card means your camp, weigh-in, walkout and bout can be filmed and photographed, and High Level Promotions can use that content to promote you, the card and its gyms.
• Memberships - weekly memberships renew each week. You can pause, change or cancel your plan any time from the portal or by talking to us - no lock-in contracts, no exit fees.

Shop & ticket terms

• Orders - shop orders are collected at the gym. We'll confirm by email when your order is ready.
• Returns - our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If something's faulty or not as described, bring it back and we'll replace or refund it. For sizing swaps on unworn apparel, just ask - we're reasonable.
• Mouthguards - for hygiene reasons, mouthguards can only be returned if faulty.
• Filming and photography - fight nights are filmed and photographed: official streams, highlight reels, recap videos and crowd shots. By buying or reserving a ticket you agree you may appear in that content and that High Level can use it to promote its events and gyms. If a particular shot of you is a problem, email us and we will pull it where we can.
• Fight night tickets - tickets are refundable up to 48 hours before the event, or if the event is cancelled or rescheduled. "Pay at the door" reservations lapse 30 minutes before first bell.
